The Staff Selection Commission has officially issued the notification for the SSC JE Recruitment 2025 on 30/06/2025. This recruitment targets the candidates specializing in Civil, electrical and mechanical engineering discipline. This recruitment offers Group B posts under various Government Departments such as BRO, Central water commission, Ministry of Jal Shakti, MES, NTRO, Ministry of Defence, CPWD. 1340 vacancies are opened for this post. Candidates with a diploma of 3 years or bachelors can make an application.
SSC JE Recruitment 2025
As per the official notice, the SSC JE Recruitment 2025 involves Paper 1, Paper 2, PET, DV and medical examination. It’s important to note that the PET is only for the candidates who want to apply in the Border Roads Organization. Also female candidates and PwBD Candidates can’t apply to BRO JE Position. SSC JE Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Vacancy 2025
As per the SSC Junior Engineer Notification 2025, a total of 1340 vacancies are announced for the JE post. The breakdown of the vacancies based on the category and post has not been yet provided. But soon the commission would provide the detailed vacancy info on SSC.gov.in web portal and under “For Candidates” option and “Tentative Vacancy” option, candidates can check out the detailed info. The vacancy will be provided based on Departments such as:

SSC JE Application Form 2025
The online application includes two processes:
- OTR
- Online Application Form
One Time Registration:
- Firstly go on ssc.gov.in.
- Under Quick links, Go on Apply.
- Look for JE 2025, Click on Apply.
- If applicants don’t hold a candidate account on SSC portal then they need to go on the “Register Now” option.
- Go to the “Continue button”.
- Under the personal details, 13 important details need to be filled including aadhaar verification, mobile, email verification.
- After personal details, candidates would get their Registration Number and that registration number needs to be saved. If a candidate does not want to continue yet then they may have 30 days to complete the entire process. Users can login with the Registration no. and OTP that is shared on mobile or email.
- If Candidate wants to continue then Click on “Continue”.
- Now Generate Passwords and add security questions.
- Provide additional details and declaration.
Online Application Form:
- Now Candidate is registered and they just need to login.
- In the ssc.gov.in Junior Engineer Application Form 2025, the info on column 1 to 18 are automatically filled. But if a candidate wants to correct any of that data then on the top right hand they need to go to “Edit Registration Details”.
- From column 19 to 27, the additional information would be asked regarding education, ex-servicemen, examination centre preferences, and PwBD information.
- Now, candidates need to download the mySSC app and on this app they need to capture their live photograph and upload the signature.
- Preview SSC JE Application Form 2025 and provide declaration and then go on to submit button.
