How To Receive Canadian Pension While Living Abroad?
Canada allows both CPP and Old age security to be paid to people living in other countries. But the rules depend on which country the pensioners want to live in and whether that country has an agreement with Canada.

Step 1: Check whether the Country you want to live in has a Social Security Agreement with Canada: The CRA provides a list of 60+ Countries that have agreements with Canada. If the country that the pensioner wants to live in does not have an agreement with Canada then the pensioner may get the OAS and CPP but that has stricter rules.
Step 2: Check out the Pension Benefits Eligibility: Pensioners must select the country they want to apply benefits for and there they need to check the eligibility of both Canadian and other country pension benefits.

Step 3: Make an Application: If a pensioner qualifies then they must see the relevant application or agreement form and fill it and attach required documents. Based on the country process, send out that application. It can be mailed, filled online based on country rules.
Important Note: Before application, pensioners need tax returns and NR4 Tax information slips.
