The WBPSC had conducted the Clerkship Examination Part 1 on 16th & 17th November 2024. This exam aims to fill various clerk vacancies under different departments of the West Bengal State Government. After months of anticipation this recruitment process is now entering its final stages as the WBPSC Clerkship Result 2025 is anticipated at the end July 2025. On 16/05/2025, the final answer keys for all four sessions of the Part 1 exam were released. Along with the scorecard the cut off as per category and the merit list would be published.
WBPSC Clerkship Result 2025
The Clerkship OMR paper is held in two stages i.e. Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 is an Objective Type exam which is conducted in OMR sheet format. It tests English, General Studies and Arithmetic. Part 2 is a Conventional Type written test in English or any other language option chosen by the candidate like Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali or Santali. The final selection is as per the total marks in both parts and document verification. After the release of WBPSC Clerkship Result 2025, the Part 1 would be concluded and it completes the first stage of Clerk recruitment.

West Bengal Clerkship Part I Scorecard 2025
As it’s been over 6 months of exam conduction, the result for the Clerkship Recruitment Part I has not been announced. The WBPSC has not officially provided any date for result release. But as per updates, the scorecard would be available in July 2025. Once the psc.wb.gov.in Clerk Result 2025 is live, follow the steps below to check out the Part-I scores:
- Go to the official website: www.psc.wb.gov.in
- Visit the “WBPSC Clerkship Part 1 Result 2025” section or the “What’s New” area on the homepage.
- Go on the link titled “Clerkship Part 1 Result 2025”.
- Fill in the Roll Number + other required info.
- View the result and download/save it.
Once the psc.wb.gov.in Clerk Result 2025 is out, WBPSC releases individual scorecards. These scorecards will include:
- Name of Candidate
- Roll Number
- Marks obtained in each section (English, Arithmetic, General Studies)
- Total marks in Part 1
- Status for next round (Shortlisted/Not Shortlisted)

WBPSC Clerkship Cut Off Marks 2025
The official cut off marks for Part I would be released with the scorecard. But the WBPSC has already specified the aggregate qualifying percentages of Part 1 and Part 2 for different categories:

The final Clerkship Merit would contain the:
- Roll numbers of shortlisted candidates
- Category information
- Eligibility status for further steps.
To be included in the final merit list, candidates must:
- Qualify in both Part 1 & Part 2
- Score equal or over the minimum marks according to their category
- Clear the Computer Proficiency and Typing Test
The final merit will be calculated based on total marks in Part 1 + Part 2 and only those who also pass the typing/computer test will be considered for final appointment.
